A New Album Coming for Dwight Yoakam

Dwight Yoakam is getting ready to release his first studio album in seven years. He's been working on the 12 songs for ``3 Pears'' since 2008 and says the process was ``reaaall reaaaallllll sloooww.'' Helping to push things along _ singer, song-writer and producer, Beck, who convinced Dwight to keep things simple and honest. As a result, the recordings reflect the emotions of the songs and focus less on the precision of the notes. The album, which is set for release on September 18th, offers Dwight's first love songs in 25 years.
