A Rainy But Fun Weekend in the Cruiser

Posted by Natalie Miceli on 2017/06/23

Natalie here, filling in for Alex this weekend!

The wet weather has been in full force this week, but that's not stopping us from having some fun in the cruiser! Friday night will kick off at the Orono Fairgrounds for the start of the Weekend of Wreckage.

On Saturday morning, find me at the Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinic in Oshawa. The need for blood donations is critical right now, and you can help by donating blood before the long weekend. Find out more at: www.blood.ca

The next stop of the weekend will be at Lakeview Park in Oshawa for the Canine Carnival in support of Homeward Bound Rescue. After that, we will head back to Orono for more Weekend of Wreckage demolition derby fun!

Saturday will wrap up at Clarington Central Secondary School in Bowmanville for the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life!

Sunday Funday will kick off in Richmond Hill at the Polo for Heart Event. After that, we will head East to Memorial Park in Oshawa for the 11th Annual Metis Heritage Celebration, before the weekend wraps up in Whitby with a Winsticker Drive Through.

-Hope to see you along the way, and remember, if you have an event that you think we should know about, drop me a line at: natalie@ckdo.ca

-Natalie :)
