An Unofficial End to Summer

Posted by Natalie Miceli on 2017/09/01

Labour Day Weekend means Summer is unofficially coming to a close and kids are heading back to school, but we are sending it out with a bang!

On Friday evening, catch us at the CNE for Brett Kissel! The Bandshell show is free with your CNE admission.

On Saturday, you can find us at the Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinic at Harmony and Taunton Road in Oshawa. Long weekends mean donors are in great need. Book your appointment to donate blood and save lives at: www.blood.ca

After that, we will head to the Ajax Public Library Main Branch on Harwood Avenue South to check out some fun upcoming September programming at the library.

The third stop of the day will be the Richmond Hill Food Truck Festival at Ricmond Green Park. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday and will have a ton of gourmet foods to choose from.

We will wrap up Saturday with a Winsticker Drive Through in Pickering.

Catch us at the Port Perry Fair at the Port Perry Fairgrounds on Sunday morning. The Fair runs until Labour Day Monday and is sure to be a blast as always!

Head down to Lakeview Park in Oshawa on Sunday afternoon and find us at the Oshawa Museum for Sunday Funday. It's all about hats and headpieces.

You can also find us at the Scarborough Museum, checking out September Weekends, before we close out the weekend in Whitby with another Winsticker giveaway.

-Hope to see you along the way, and remember, if you have an event that you think we should know about, drop me a line at: alex@kx96.fm

-Alex :)
