Hi!
This weekend we celebrated Robbie Burns Day at Mackenzie House located on Bond Street just below Yonge & Dundas Square. It’s an annual celebration of the Scottish poet’s life with toe-tappin’ music, tasty shortbread treats and the traditional meal of haggis being served throughout the day. It was our second time being there, and what a great time! Always lots to do.
We also went to the Oshawa Permanent Blood Clinic on Harmony and Taunton in Oshawa. You can make a donation there Thursdays through Saturdays to give back to someone in need of blood or blood products. Every 60 seconds in Canada someone needs a blood donation-so what better why to give back then to sit for 15 minutes and donate? You even get cookies and juice as a reward.
What a great weekend!
