This weekend was a busy one-being that it marked both the last day of 2011 and the first day of 2012!
We started things out by getting ready to ring in the new year by visiting the Pickering Recreation Centre. There they were preparing for a night of free family fun with skating, swimming, crafts, games and more! It was lots of fun. There were also some awesome New Years Eve celebrations at the Oshawa Senior Citizen Centre and the Oshawa Legions Centre too.
Then on New Years Day, we took the big plunge! Into Lake Ontario for a good cause at the 7th Annual Polar Bear Swim to raise money for the hospital. It was freeeeeeeeezing! There was also a Polar Dip in Clarington to raise funds for local charities, and it was an icy one out there too. All worth it!
