Easter weekend is finally here and I hope you can meet us at some really fun events this weeekend (in between all of your chocolate treats).
To start off our Saturday, we will be at the Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinic in Oshawa. The need for blood donors never stops on a long weekend, and you can help by donating blood! Find out more about donating at: www.blood.ca
After that, we will be off to Whitby, to check out the Easter Egg-Stravaganza at the Kids Safety Village of Durham Region, there's sure to be lots of hip hoppity Easter fun for all ages! Don't forget a non-perishable food item for the food bank.
We will head back east to Oshawa after the Safety Village for the Free Community Easter Event at the Salvation Army Church on Thornton Road North. There will be an egg hunt, crafts, snacks and drinks and more.
Saturday will finish at the Lynde House Museum on Brock Street South in Whitby for the Children's Easter Egg Hunt. Tours and egg hunts start on the hour and amdission is free but donations will be accepted.
Sunday will start in our station backyard, the Oshawa Airport, for the Lions Easter Egg-Stravaganza. Kids can take part in an egg hunt, visit with the easter bunny, who will be arriving by airplane and check out the petting zoo and games.
Rouge Park in Whitby will be the next stop of the weekend, for a Guided Trail Hike, before we visit the Scarborough Museum for April Weekends.
Easter Sunday will wrap up in Pickering with a Winsticker Drive Through!
