Kix Brooks will release his solo debut, New to This Town, on September 11th. He says that writing the songs for the project made him feel like he did when he was first getting into music. Kix describes the project as "kind of fun and games and hangin' it out there and thinkin' about gettin' back in a lot of those clubs and festivals and gettin' to play again."
The 12-song collection was produced by Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus.
