New to our airwaves this week: the latest from Justin Moore's sophomore disc "Outlaws Like Me", "Bait A Hook". Justin's as country as they come - if you don't believe me, he'll tell you on pretty much every song on the album ;)
Tara Oram's back with another great song from HER 2nd album "Revival", a pretty ballad called "Kiss Me When I Fall"; Tara told us recently that, despite her not having written it, that song is a very personal one to her, having lived through a similar situation as the girl in the tune. Aaron Pritchett reached into his personal experience to come up with is latest song "Coming Clean" - it's from his latest disc "In The Drivers' Seat"
You'll also be hearing Edmonton's Marlee Scott's new tune "Beautiful Maybe" from her forthcoming 3rd album, out early in 2012. Singer/songwriter Brantley Gilbert's debut is called "Country Must be Country Wide" and we've got that one in rotation now too. Brantley co-wrote two big hits for Jason Aldean including "My Kinda Party" and his most recent one "Dirt Road Anthem".
Speaking of Jason, we've got his latest "Tattoos On This Town" on the air next week. Another Jason you'll be hearing from is Mr. Blaine who has a killer new song inspired by his grandfather (who I believe is featured in the video for the song) "They Don't Make Them Like That Anymore". Good stuff, Jasons...
That's it for now; remember if you have a question about a song you're hearing (or not hearing) on KX-96, drop the Music Dude a line here: music@kx96.fm
