Some Winter Fun & Some Black History

Posted by Jeunesse Montgomery-Spencer on 2012/02/08

Hello!

What a great weekend!

We kicked things off in Downsview Park for Winterfest. There were ice canvas for painting, an ice block play area, ice slides and in a distance that was far enough away from all the icy fun- a fire thrower putting on shows throughout day.

We also went to the annual Kuumba Festival at the Toronto Harbourfront Centre. In celebration of Black History month we checked out a Caribbean drum show with dance performances and enjoyed live music. It was both educational and exciting!

Until next week…!
