Spring is Finally Here

Posted by Natalie Miceli on 2017/03/24

We are welcoming Spring with lots of rain this weekend, but they say April showers bring May flowers!

Find us in Rouge Park on Saturday morning for a Guided Trail Hike. Grab your rain boots and rain coats and hit the trails! Find out more about the hikes at: www.rougepark.com

Next, you can find us at the Pickering Town Centre for the 12th Annual Sustainable Pickering Day. Check out the indoor farmers market, watch gardening demos and more, take part in free family fun and more.

We will be heading down the road to the Pickering Public Library after that to check out some upcoming fun at the branch, before wrapping up Saturday in Whitby with a Winsticker Drive Through.

On Sunday morning, you can catch us at the 4th Annual Spring Health and Wellness Expo at Heydenshore Pavilion in Whitby. Check out vendor booths, get some health tips and lots more!

After that, we will be heading to Stouffville for the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area and the Scarborough Museum for the Canada Cooks and March Weekend events.

The weekend will finish up in Oshawa with a Winsticker giveaway.

-Hope to see you along the way, and remember, if you have an event that you think we should know about, drop me a line at: tori@kx96.fm
