The Country Rising Benefit is a Success

Posted by carolyn ellis on 2017/11/14

The Country Rising benefit in Nashville was a huge success, raising more than $4 million to support the victims of September's hurricanes and the shooting at the Route 91 Harvest music festival.  That amount reflects a $250,000 donation from Chris and Morgane Stapleton, ticket sales from two Garth Brooks shows and a $100,000 donation from Dollar General.  The sold-out concert featured Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Jon Pardi, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Keith Urban.  Another show was added at the nearby Ascend Amphitheater and it featured Tucker Beathard, Lindsay Ell, Chris Janson, Carly Pearce and more.
