Imagine Short Story Contest

The Ajax Public Library and the Ajax News Advertiser invite young writers to enter this summer’s Imagine Short Story Contest.

Begin your story with this line: “I was all set for a relaxing summer vacation, completely unaware of the fantastic adventure that was about to come my way.” 

Entries are limited to 500 words and should be dropped off at your local branch or submitted by email (libraryinfo@ajaxlibrary.ca ) by Saturday, August 18, 2012.  Winning entries will be chosen from four categories: JK-grade 3, grades 4-6, grades 7 & 8 and Best of Contest.  The Best in Contest winner entry will be published in the Ajax News Advertiser and all winning submissions will be posted on the newspaper’s and the Library’s websites.
