There will be someone on hand to answer your questions and to help you along if you need advice. | | Then & Now Garden Tour Parkwood Estates, Oshawa - Jul 29, 2010 At 10 AM, come to the Then and Now Garden Tour with Matthew Dressing (of Direct Landscape Supply) at Parkwood. You can see some of Parkwood's garden areas designed by the renowned landscape architects, and by the Dunington-Grubbs in the early 1900s. Cost is $10.+hst for the public; $9.+hst for Parkwood Subscribers or $5.+hst active members of Garden Clubs/Horticultural Society. There will be lemonade refreshments for all.

Play in the 17th Annual Oldtimers Service Club League Slo-Pitch Tournament today and tomorrow to help raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis. Each team will pay an entry fee of $175 (which includes the ball) to play in a men's recreational or co-ed recreational game-rain or shine! Awards will be given for first and second in each division! Tell the staff at Free Teen Stuff what you want - you may just get it. The ideas for free makeover workshops, skateboarding competitions, Coffee House, Band Night and Guys Only all came from local Pickering Teens. Now, during the months of July and August, the City of Pickering Free Teen Stuff Programmers are presenting a contest to collect ideas from Pickering teens (ages 13 - 19 years). If you have a good idea, send your questions, comments , suggestions or new ideas about Free Teen Programs and Events and you could win yourself a City of Pickering Free Teen Prize Pack which includes a ton a great SWAG plus a chance to be featured in the city of Pickering's promotional flyers, website page, facebook and twitter, along with the usual “that was my idea” bragging rights.
