Blake Shelton didn't respond to the critics of his new song, "Minimum Wage", because it didn't deserve a response. Some people were saying that the song was tone deaf because Blake, who is a millionaire, is singing about minimum wage at a time when many people are struggling financially. Blake says that people are hearing what they want to hear. Nicolle Galyon, Corey Crowder and Jesse Frasure wrote the song. The lyrics talk about how a woman's love can lift you up and make you feel like a millionaire. Ronnie Dunn was among the many stars who came to Blake's defense, saying he wished he'd written the song himself.
