Lainey Wilson was one of five inductees and three award winners to be celebrated during the 47th Annual Cowgirl Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon and Ceremony on November 14th in Fort Worth, Texas. Lainey received the Patsy Montana Entertainer Award, which was named after 1987 honouree Patsy Montana. The award is given to females who work in the entertainment industry and have acted as strong representatives for the traditions of the cowgirl in the fields of film, television, music, writing and theatre. Previous award winners include Emmylou Harris (1996), Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story 2 (2000), Callie Khouri (2016), Christina Voros (2021) and Faith Hill (2022). Lainey also joins the list of 247 cowgirls who have been inducted into the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
