Morgan Wallen recently made a trip to Greene County, Tennessee to visit with families affected by Hurricane Helene. One of the homes he visited belongs to Stephen and Tallie Gregg. They live near the Nolichuckey River, which flooded in the hurricane, and caused the water to rise "within inches" of the ceiling in their home. The house had to be stripped down to the studs to be repaired. While visiting the home, Morgan wrote a Bible verse - Psalms 40:2 - on the studs of the home. "He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand," the passage reads. Morgan also spoke with other victims of the hurricane trying to raise money and awareness about the work that has to be done to restore the area.
