Jelly Roll understands why Miranda Lambert had the reaction she did to the women taking a selfie at her concert. However, he also understands why the women would want to take the picture. "She's singing the most intimate song of her set," he said in a recent interview. "I don't know how she feels when she sings 'Tin Man." I know when I sing 'She' on stage I am fighting everything in my soul not to cry - she might be like that when she sings 'Tin Man' or 'The House That Built Me.' You don't know how emotionally unstable these songs will make an artist." Jelly Roll is a big fan of Miranda. "I judge people based on intentions," he continued. "I know that Miranda would never be intentionally disrespectful to anybody. I know that Miranda's heart is right. She has been one of the best people to me in this business, from the moment I came in. But I get the girls' perspective too. You pay all this money, all this time, you wanna take this picture."

Randy Meisner, the bassist and founding member of the Eagles, has died at the age of 77 from COPD. The band shared the news on social media. Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon and Randy formed the Eagles in the early 1970's and released five albums before Randy left the band in 1977. He was mainly a backing vocalist, but did take lead vocals on the band's Top 5 hit "Take It To The Limit," released in 1976. Randy went on to have a solo career. The Eagles reunited without him in 1994. Several years later he joined the band for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but when the group reunited again for a 2013 tour, he declined for health reasons. Randy died Wednesday night in Los Angeles. He leaves behind three children.
Lainey Wilson's "Watermelon Moonshine" has been called the modern-day "Strawberry Wine." Lainey decided to create and share her own a cappella mashup of the two songs. That caught Deana Carter's attention, who revealed that she got "overwhelming requests" for her to follow up Lainey's video with her own mashup of the songs. In a third video, as Deana begins to strum her guitar to "Watermelon Moonshine," Lainey joins in for a spontaneous duet, and now fans want to hear an official duet from them. The single was written by Lainey, Jordan Schmidt and Josh Kear.
Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan are mourning the loss of their dog Thelma. She was one of two Great Pyrenees that Miranda adopted in 2016. Thelma and Louise joined her family in May of that year. "They rode on my bus all the way from Dallas to Nashville and on that 10 hour drive I fell in love with them," Miranda remembers in a tribute post. The dogs were named in honour of the 25th anniversary of the movie Thelma & Louise. Her post also included an update on Louise. "Louise has retired from her farm duties and is getting all the more love and snuggles from Delta, Bellamy, Cher, Brendan and me," she writes. "It hurts so bad to say goodbye to these sweet companions but their love is always worth it."
