Earlier in the year Willie Nelson had to postpone a run of shows due to someone in his band testing postive for COVID...it turns out it was actually him.
He struggled with the virus for about a week, to the point where both his fans and his wife became concerned for his well-being.
Since already having breathing issues, it has been said he may gasp now getting to stage, but singing and playing guitar comes with ease.
"COVID ain't nothing to laugh at, that's for sure," Nelson says.
In a recent interview, Luke Combs opened up about his crippling obsessive-compulsive disorder. Now, he says, he has it more under control than he ever did and that's all thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic and how much time he was able to spend at home with family.
Since the birth of his first son, Tex, he has only improved saying "There's stuff that used to matter as far as the things that you worry about, you just don't really worry about that stuff anymore," he says. "I mean, and almost instantly. You're just kind of like, 'Don't care about that. Don't care.'"
Luke brings his Canadian tour to Scotiabank Arena on November 14th and 15th, and to Budweiser Gardens on November 21st and 22nd.
High Valley's Brad Rempel and Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne have teamed up to create their own home renovation show called Flip U (short for Flip University).
The two will be playing double duty as both hosts and coaches of the show. They hope to share their knowledge on house flipping while also celebrating the city of Nashville and love for country music.
Wayne says about the project “Brad and I would always run into each other at shows, and we’d always end up talking backstage about real estate," Wayne reveals in a statement. "We’ve given each other a few tips throughout the years, and we can’t wait to share them now with our viewers!”
Flip U is set to premiere in Spring 2023.
