    With over 50 youth members, there are Wildcats everywhere! This up-beat throwback to the ins and outs of high school drama is a nostalgic romp for young and old alike!  In this play, an audition notice is posted for East High’s spring musical and superstar athlete Troy and science whiz Gabriella secretly want to try out. Will their dreams be thwarted as they navigate the cliques of East High? Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favourite High School Musical songs such as “Get’cha Head in the Game,” “Stick to the Status Quo,” and “We’re All in This Together.” With its inspiring message of friendship, self-discovery, and teamwork, you’ll be singing and cheering along with the talented High School Musical JR. Cast!  You won’t want to miss out on this entertaining SLCT musical!

  • Books and Brews: The Girls on the Train

    The St. Francis Centre and the Ajax Public Library proudly present Books and Brews – a book club of a different kind! Pick up a copy of the featured book at the Ajax Library Main Branch before the movie screening and enjoy a facilitated group discussion after the movie. And don’t forget to enjoy some delicious brews on movie night including coffee, tea, and craft beers, as well as a movie-themed cocktail or a variety of other refreshments available for purchase. It’s stories, screens, and snacks all rolled into one!

    The Girl on the Train (Book by Paula Hawkins and film directed by Tate Taylor) is a psychological thriller that takes us on a journey of an everyday train commuter, Rachel Watson, who watches a seemingly perfect couple, until one day – Rachel sees something shocking that unfolds in the backyard of the couple’s home.
