  • WELLSPRING 2026 HOLISTIC FAIR

    The Wellspring 2026 Holistic Fair takes place on April 18 at the Newcastle Community Hall. Free to all attendees. The Fair will feature over 20 local holistic practitioners, retailers, clinics and spas. Separate Speaker Sessions, Mala Bracelet Making classes, Herbal Tea Tastings, Apple Cider Sampling (non-alcoholic), Mini Wellness sessions at the practitioners' tables. Also featuring Pet Therapy.   • Plot to Plate (Heirloom Edition)Join us for a special edition of Plot to Plate, where you'll learn to grow, harvest, and care for heirloom vegetables. This hands-on gardening experience allows you to plant heirloom varieties, nurture your green thumb, and take-home vegetables that have a rich history. With a dedicated garden plot at the Pickering Museum Village, you'll gain practical gardening skills while connecting with nature. 16 week series. Entrance and Parking at Gate 3 - 3550 Greenwood Road, Greenwood.

  • Port Oshawa Pioneer Cemetery TourTake a walk to Oshawa's oldest cemetery, and discover more about those who are laid to rest within. Along the way, Oshawa Museum staff will chat about places of interest through Lakeview Park.

    Admission is $5/person (FREE for members of the Oshawa Historical Society). The tour departs from Guy House at the Oshawa Museum, and the walk to the cemetery features an incline.

    Please note: from May 15 to October 15, paid parking will be in effect at Lakeview Park on weekends, public holidays and during City-led events.
