It’s a busy fall weekend in KX Country!
On Saturday morning you can find me at the Walk For Dog Guides at Heydenshore Park in Whitby! You can come out to show your support and raise funds to help with the raising, training and placing of Dog Guides in Canada. If you can’t make it out you can always donate online at walkfordogguides.com
Afterwards you can find me at the Bowmanville Fire Station on Highway 2 for Clarington Family Safety Day! Between 10:00am and 2:00pm you can bring the whole family out or free to enjoy games, activities, food, prizes and lots of interactive displays as well!
On Saturday afternoon I will be at the Orono Fairgrounds for the 3rd Annual More Than A Car Show! There is sure to be car loads of good times! Everything from baking contests, auctions, live music, activities for the kids and lots of sweet rides of all makes and models!
I will be ending my day on Perry Street in Port Perry for Culture Days! It’s the biggest celebration of arts and culture of the year! Between 11:00am and 5:00pm you can check out the hands on workshops and enjoy live music. Event get in on the action and grab a piece of chalk to transform the cement into your own piece of art!
Kyle will be in for me on Sunday and you can find him on Sunday morning at the Visual Arts Centre in Bowmanville for the Clarington Outdoor Art Festival! It’s their second annual event and you can come and check it out where artists, musicans, food vendors and more will be taking over the grounds of the gallery in Soper Creek Park!
Afterwards it’s off to the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa for the Oshawa Generals Street Fest! Leading up to the home opener you can come out to the free event along Athol Street for live entertainment, a beer garden and a tailgate-like experience before the big game!
