  • Time Travelling TastesStep into the past and taste your way through history! In this immersive 8-week cooking workshop, participants will explore the bizarre, bold, and beautiful flavors of bygone eras. From ancient Roman delicacies to jellied wonders of the 1970s, each session dives into a different time period with hands-on cooking, historical anecdotes, and plenty of laughs. Whether you're a history buff, a foodie, or just curious about what people used to eat, this program promises a deliciously educational adventure.

  • Little Sprouts - Garden Gnomes & Fairy HomesCaregiver and tot program.
    Introduce your little one to the wonders of nature in this fun, hands-on program! Explore PMV's garden spaces through free-play, sensory learning activities catered to curious minds and small hands. After your program, feel free to explore our family-friendly museum exhibits!

    Please note that this program fee provides entry for 1 adult and 1 child. Additional adults require a general admission ticket. Additional children require their own registration. Adults must stay onsite with children.

  • Craft Circle at the Oshawa Museum

    Calling All Crafters!

    The Oshawa Museum is hosting a craft circle for all ages on the last Sunday of each month. Bring your latest work in progress and hang out with museum volunteers and other like-minded crafters. This is the perfect chance to try something if you’re new to handicrafts or solve a mystery, like how to actually fix slipped stitches and how the heck to hold a crochet hook properly.

    This is a free experience, but the Oshawa Museum always welcomes donations. Come to Guy House, the yellow museum building in Lakeview Park, between 12:30 and 3:30 pm.

  • Puppet-Making WorkshopMr. Dressup had Casey and Finnegan, and now you can have a new best friend, too! Join this hands-on workshop and learn how to create your own unique puppet to take home with you.   • Strolls & StrollersYou and your little one will connect with nature in this interactive parent and tot program. Join us for a guided walk full of fun activities perfect for little ones, ending your session with story time and sing-a-long!

    Note that this program provides entry for 1 adult with each child, this is not a drop-off program. Additional adults require a general admission ticket. Each child requires their own registration. Entry includes admission to the Museum for the day.10:00am - 11:00am

  • Pickering Paranormal TourJoin us at Pickering's picturesque waterfront, where not everything is as it seems. Led by a PMV guide, guests will step back in time to explore the darker side of Pickering's past. Hear tales of infamous criminals, supernatural occurrences, and even explore a historic local cemetery by lantern-light. Warning - not for the faint of heart!

    This program will take place at the Millennium Square Pickering. More information will be emailed 2 days prior to the program start.07:15pm - 08:15pm

  • Myth & Moonlight: An After Dark ExperienceAs darkness creeps over the village, wicked creatures come out to play! Explore the history of mysterious creatures like sirens, fae, and changelings, and learn the true version of your favourite fairytales - all through engaging experiences throughout the Museum. This event offers a unique twist on our classic tour, for those brave enough to explore the more sinister side of the fairy world.
    Recommended for ages 12 & up.07:00pm - 10:00pm
