DOLLY: A True Original Musical will open on Broadway in January 2027 after a successful premiere in Nashville.

Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, the show will feature Dolly's life story and her journey to becoming a superstar. Opening night is set for January 19th, which just happens to be Dolly's 81st birthday. "My whole life has been a musical. A grand ole opry really and I can't wait to present it to you on Broadway," she said in a statement. "I hope you enjoy watching as much as I've enjoyed living it."
