When Ella Langley is feeling down, one of the ways she makes herself feel better is by spending money.

Her favourite splurge is makeup. She justifies her shopping by telling herself that if she's going to put in the work to make the money, she might as well enjoy spending it too. "You can't take it with you," says Ella. "You know what you can take with you...people. That's the only thing you can take with you to heaven when you go."
