Just before Kenny Chesney finished the final night of his 15-show residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas on June 21, he had a little secret to share with the audience.

He is extending his residency into 2026. "To be able to take our audience on such a magical journey has been one of the highlights of our lives," Kenny told the crowd. "I can tell you that a couple days ago we were asked to come back. Next summer, we will come back to the Sphere. If you guys will come back, we will come back." A press release issued after the show revealed that Kenny's announcement onstage wasn't part of the plan. No details about the number of shows or dates have been released yet.
